Privacy policy

What we collect

• Account and purchase: email, name, purchase records (course, amount, currency, provider reference). Card numbers are never seen or stored by us; they are handled by Toss Payments (KRW) or Polar (USD).
• Learning: lesson completion, quiz attempts and scores, certificates issued.
• Course applications: name, email, country, clinic, specialty, licence confirmation, experience, notes you write.
• Usage: five product analytics events (lecture play, course view, pay click, payment complete, application submit) and standard server logs.

Why

To deliver the course you bought, confirm your seat, issue certificates, answer your questions, meet tax and accounting obligations, and improve the site. We send transactional emails (confirmation, access, payment) and no marketing email without separate consent.

Who processes it

Airtable (records), Netlify (hosting), Google Firebase (sign-in), Resend (email), Toss Payments and Polar (payments), YouTube or the video host (lesson playback), PostHog (analytics, if enabled). Partner clinics receive the application details needed to run the course you applied to.

Retention

Purchase and tax records: 5 years as required by Korean law. Account and learning records: while your account exists and 1 year after your last sign-in, unless you ask for deletion earlier. Application records: 3 years.

Your rights

Access, correction, deletion and withdrawal of consent: email support@connectingdocs.net from the address on file. For EU/UK users, the merchant of record Polar is the controller for the payment itself.

Transfers

Data is stored by the providers above, mainly in the United States. We use providers with standard contractual safeguards.
